Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of NextStation, operated by NextStation ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use NextStation.

Eligibility

To use NextStation you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction)
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
  • Provide accurate registration information and keep it updated
  • Not be barred from receiving services under applicable law

NextStation offers two service plans:

Prices are in US dollars. The Pro Plan is a one-time, non-recurring payment that permanently unlocks all Pro features for your account. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before any price changes, which will only apply to new purchases.

Billing and Payment

One-Time Purchase

The Pro Plan is a one-time, non-recurring payment of $19.99. There are no monthly charges, auto-renewals, or hidden fees. Your Pro access is permanent and tied to your account.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number. You will receive an email receipt immediately after purchase.

Refunds

If you were charged in error or the Pro features did not activate on your account, contact us within 14 days of purchase at [email protected] for a full refund. For in-app purchases made through Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are governed by the respective platform's refund policy — contact Apple or Google directly for those purchases.

Account Deletion and Pro Access

If you delete your account, your Pro purchase is forfeited and is not refundable (except as provided above). Pro access is non-transferable between accounts.

In-App Purchases

When you purchase the Pro Plan through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, your purchase is subject to that platform's payment terms in addition to these Terms. The platform will charge your account on confirmation of purchase. Apple and Google may share purchase confirmation with us but do not share your full payment information.

In-app purchases are a one-time, non-consumable purchase that permanently unlocks Pro features for your linked NextStation account.

User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • • Use NextStation only for lawful purposes
  • • Keep your account credentials confidential and not share access
  • • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized account access
  • • Not access or interfere with other users' data
  • • Not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without written permission
  • • Not upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
  • • Verify important relocation information with official military sources

Prohibited Activities

  • • Violating any applicable laws or military regulations
  • • Uploading malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
  • • Impersonating others or creating false identities
  • • Reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code
  • • Using the platform to store classified or sensitive government information
  • • Reselling or commercializing the service without authorization

Do not upload classified, controlled unclassified (CUI), or FOUO information to NextStation.

Community Guidelines and Content Moderation

The NextStation community is a space for the military community to support one another through relocations. To keep it safe and respectful, all posts and comments are subject to automated pre-submission screening and human moderation review.

Automated Content Filtering

All community posts and comments are automatically screened before publication. Content that contains profanity, slurs, explicit material, personal identifying information (PII), or other policy-violating content will be blocked and will not be published. You will be notified if your post is blocked so you can revise and resubmit.

What Is Not Allowed

  • • Profanity, obscene language, or sexually explicit content
  • • Harassment, bullying, threats, or targeted attacks on individuals
  • • Hate speech or content that discriminates based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or national origin
  • • Personal identifying information about yourself or others (SSN, address, unit details)
  • • Classified, CUI, FOUO, or any sensitive government information
  • • Spam, advertising, or self-promotion unrelated to military relocations
  • • Misinformation presented as official military guidance
  • • Content depicting illegal activity

Human Moderation

In addition to automated filtering, our moderation team reviews flagged content. Any user can report a post or comment that violates these guidelines. We review reports and take action — including warning, suspending, or permanently banning accounts — within 48 hours of a report being filed.

Consequences

Violations may result in post removal, a warning, temporary suspension from the community, or permanent account termination depending on severity. Repeat violations or egregious single violations (threats, explicit content, doxing) will result in immediate and permanent termination.

Appeals

If you believe a moderation action was made in error, you may appeal by contacting [email protected] within 14 days of the action.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Account → Delete Account. Account deletion is permanent. Upon deletion, your personal data (profile, moves, tasks, documents) is queued for removal and deleted within 30 days. Payment history is retained for 7 years as required by law. If you have purchased Pro, your Pro access is forfeited upon account deletion and is non-refundable (except as provided in the Billing and Payment section above).

Service Disclaimer

NextStation is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense or any branch of the U.S. Military.The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Information in the app is for planning purposes only — always verify critical relocation details with your chain of command and official military sources.

Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, and software are owned by NextStation and protected by copyright and trademark law. You retain full ownership of the data you enter. By using NextStation, you grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the service to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NextStation's total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for IP infringement or misuse of confidential information.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. If we terminate your account for reasons other than a Terms violation and you purchased Pro within the last 14 days, we will issue a full refund of your one-time purchase upon request.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions? Contact [email protected]
